Frequently Asked Questions
Most Frequent Questions and Answers
Can you come to my home or office instead of your place?
I can meet with you anywhere that gives us privacy and allows for a therapeutic environment. If the need arises, we can also have a phone consultation rather than meeting in person.
How much does a session cost? And what is the payment mode?
The sessions are paid by bank transfer or other accepted methods. You can choose to pay each session independently or to buy a 5 or 10 session pack, for a lower price per session.
Is the psychological therapy effective?
Psychological therapy is effective as long as it is conducted by a professional in psychology and the appropriate techniques are applied in each case.
How long do the sessions last?
Psychotherapy sessions normally last about 50 minutes. However, in specific situations, the duration could be slightly shorter or longer. It is important to maintain a stable schedule, but it is also relevant that each session can be closed properly.
What happens between one session and the next?
Do you have evening and weekend appointments?
I do not schedule regular appointments in the evenings. But for my regular clients, I will meet with them on a weekend if the need arises.

“Life is full of potentially stressful events and it is normal to feel anxious about everyday things. There can be a single trigger or event that raises anxiety levels, but generally it may be a number of things that increase anxiety levels, including exams, work deadlines, how we think we look, going on a first date or whether we feel safe travelling home late at night.
Anxiety has a strong effect on us because it is one of our natural survival responses. It causes our minds and bodies to speed up to prepare us to respond to an emergency.”
