The things you should do on a daily basis that can help your child grow and develop his/her brain.
Our bodies work better when we eat good food and in the same way our brains work better when we have access to other people who do the things that feed the brain and help it function better.
Five things a parent can do to a child;

These should be a daily building blocks for a healthy brain. Children learn most of the things at tender ages and how we interact with them will determine the kind of future they will have. During pregnancy, everything the mother goes through, the baby experiences the same way. It begins with the food she eats and the drinks she consumes, which nourish her and the baby. Every day brings many opportunities to give and receive this healthy nourishment.
How Adults Connect With Others.
Adults are able to connect with other people without touching them – if they respond to us, we can engage with them and then relax so that our brains can work. A successful connection of this type takes place on the right-hand side of the brain through nonverbal communication (play) and the left-hand side of the brain through verbal communication (talk). This sequence helps us improve our connections with other people.

On the other hand, babies are unable to connect to people across a distance. They need to be close to an adult to feel safe. So when we think about what babies need to build a healthy brain, the Five to Thrive become the most important building block!
